Nader Iskander

Nader Iskander is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in
startups creation , growing them , exiting , investing & enabling the
entrepreneurial ecosystem.
After 5 years of working in the family business , Nader completed his MBA at
Duke in 97 and founded 2 IT companies.
EMEIT is focused on digital transformarion of enterprises since 1998 , in
partnership with Microsoft Dynamics Business ERP/CRM Solutions. Serving
hundreds of businesses , transforming how businesses are run across the region.
EME International, founded in 2004, was a pioneer in mobile fintech solutions
with Global awards . Focused on fintech movile solutions, we enabled Fawry’s
ecosystem, my developing over 20 mobile wallets and enabling hundreds of
thousands of POS devices . In 2016, our technology was acquired and later in
2019, my team was fully acquired by Fawry before the IPO.
My other team focused on developing platforms for other tech startups and was
acquired by Grinta, Egypt’s fastest growing B2B online pharma marketplace.
Nader is also a co-founder of Dawi medical clinics, established more than 7 years
ago and remained in a strategic role for 2 years, before transitioning to a board
role. Dawi clinic currently has 23 clinics with multiple institutional investors.
Nader is also an active angel investor with over serval investments, across the
decade , including in Africa, along with angel groups and vices. He also sits on
several boards and is an active executive coach to start up founders.
Building on his passion to enable the entrepreneurial ecosystem , he recently
acts as an EIR at the leading regional accelerator, Vlab , in the American
University in Cairo.
Nader is driven by his passion for finding major problems and creating
innovative, sustainable solutions to solve them by investing financially and more
importantly, time , in others who will deliver successfully. He has a relentless
passion to impact a nation , by creating / enabling companies to start, grow,
become profitable, creating jobs and delighting their customers.
