Incubation Department Senior Manager - ITIDA/ TIEC
Lamiaa El Rashidy is the Incubation Department Senior Manager at the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC)/ ITIDA. Lamiaa has over 14 years’ experience in the incubation business as she joined ITIDA in May 2010 as Incubation Specialist and since then she has supported and mentored through her work more than 100 Egyptian startups, many of which are some of the most successful Egyptian startups. Lamiaa joined TIEC since its inception in September 2010 and has been managing the incubation department since June 2012. In 2021, Lamiaa lead the engagement team from ITIDA that worked closely with Deloitte consultancy to develop The Egyptian Startup Ecosystem Strategy. Lamiaa has also joined Mowgli mentorship program in 2018 and she is one of its regional mentors. Lamiaa is also the representative of ITIDA/TIEC in the Arab Innovation and Entrepreneurship Network (AIEN) since 2015. Through her work, Lamiaa has built strong relationships with the different stakeholders in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and managed many partnerships with international organizations. Prior to her current position, she held different positions at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and DaimlerChrysler Egypt. Lamiaa earned an MBA from Maastricht School of Management (MSM), with Distinction and a B.A. in Business Administration – Concentration Marketing, from the American University in Cairo with high honors.
