As the Executive Director of the UN-ESCWA Technology Centre, I lead transformative projects that drive regional capacities and technological advancements. I facilitate policy reforms and dialogues among policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society organizations, promoting the responsible deployment of emerging technologies.
With a rich background in environmental engineering and sustainable development, I have spearheaded multi-million dollar projects that have served tens of countries, significantly impacting youth and women’s economic empowerment and creating opportunities for startups. My experience includes building global strategies for sustainable development, leading multidisciplinary projects across various countries, and developing innovative educational programs.
