Dr. HIROYUKI SUZUKI is the senior executive vice president, representative director of Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR), and a co-founder and the president CEO, XBorder Innovations, Inc. (XBI), both located in Keihanna Science City, Kyoto, Japan.
He is leading the establishment of a global innovation ecosystem based on global innovation collaboration networks involving 1100+ organizations, including 450+ in 40 overseas countries. He runs various startup support platforms, one of which is an acceleration program, KGAP+, which has accepted 173 startups from 19 countries and supported their business expansion in Japan and aboard.
He is the curator of the “Industry” exhibit in the Kyoto booth at the Osaka Kansai Expo 2025 and a supervisor of the startup festival at the Keihanna EXPO 2025.
