I first received my first computer as a gift when I was sixteen years old (it was a Sinclair if you have ever seen one!) I felt that I was a genius and had to be more genius! Although it was about games, but writing some code was always something that I enjoyed!
Then the internet came along, and I was fascinated by exploring the world from my home. I enjoyed lots developing simple websites and being the nerdy guy! Since then, the internet has become my hobby, passion, and business!
Till now, I lived in Italy, Oman, and Egypt, and I visited more than 30 cities across the globe!

As online marketing & communications professional, my passion is always about helping people, companies & organizations to grow their business & reputation online.
With 25+ years of experience, I enjoy sharing knowledge through training, workshops & seminars around online marketing, with a special passion for Social Media, Online Marketing & communications. I also mentor entrepreneurs helping them to unleash the power of online marketing for their startups.
As a professional trainer, I work with the international media like Thomson Reuters Foundation & Deutsche Welle Akademie, the education sectors like the American University in Cairo, and international development organizations like GIZ, European Union, USAID, Hivos, FES, and many more.
As a media figure, also I share my experience with digital marketing & online media through regular appearances on BBC, SkyNews, Reuters, vice, and many more!
As an adjunct faculty at the AUC, I teach different courses around digital journalism to master’s students, including social media journalism and interactive journalism.
When I was in Italy in 2008, I came across a Linkedin post from one of my friends who was starting a new branch for his company in Cairo!
We met the next day, and I started my journey as an entrepreneur as the co-founder & CEO of Insideout, the regional hub of InsideOut Group, where we helped our clients through online video technologies & AI-powered Search Engine Optimization.
