Senior Portfolio Coordinator and National Expert - KfW Development Bank
Mr. Adham Khattaby is a Senior Portfolio Coordinator and national expert at KfW Development Bank since 2019. Additionally, Mr. Khattaby brings over a decade of experience in banking and economics at one of the leading financial institutions in the Middle East. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Alexandria University (Egypt) and a master’s degree in law, economics and management from Université Montpellier 1 (France). Mr. Khattaby, along with a Frankfurt-based team, is co-managing German Financial Cooperation projects in Egypt implemented by KfW on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) covering Financial Systems, Education and Governance. The portfolio includes projects in building and rehabilitating primary schools, establishing a number of Centres of Competence, fostering digitalisation in TVET as well as other projects focusing on developing MSMEs access to finance, women empowerment, credit-risk-management instruments and energy efficiency.
