His journey began in corporate finance before transitioning into the cultural sector, where he made significant strides as a driving force behind the evolution of the Sharjah International Book Fair into the world's largest book fair. With a penchant for innovation and growth, Salim then spearheaded the establishment and successful operation of the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority, achieving a remarkable turnover of AED 100 Million under his directorship. Recognized for his exceptional leadership, Salim was appointed Executive Director of the Sharjah Book Authority by Emiri Decree, a testament to his strategic vision and impactful contributions to the literary landscape.
