Karima El Hakim is the Director for Plug & Play in Africa, the global leader in corporate innovation and one of the top early-stage Venture Capital investors in the world. She is an angel investor and an avid supporter of women led businesses and initiatives that foster women inclusion in the financial sector and business space. Karima's work revolves around ecosystem building, VC investment and startup acceleration/incubation which was duly recognized throughout her previous work at Fawry, Falak Startups and Orascom Development Holding. She holds a BSc. in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo and a MSc in Market Intelligence and Research from Sciences-Po Paris (IEP).
