Experienced socio-economic development professional with over 20 years of diversified experience in fostering inclusive and sustainable economic development in Egypt and the Arab region currently working at the National Bank of Egypt as the General Manager for Business development and non-Financial services for SMEs. Previously, she was working at the EBRD and has participated in the establishment of the SME Finance and Development group in Egypt as she was one of the first hires at the institution, in addition she had worked as the regional coordinator of the advisory program in the southern eastern Mediterranean Region. She has a proven track record in managing stakeholder and donor relations, establishing strategic partnerships, conducting analytical and research exercises and leading technical cooperation initiatives. She has demonstrated expertise in economic growth, private sector development, public private dialogue and SME enhancement, with a strong focus on thematic areas like financial inclusion, climate, youth & gender empowerment, and entrepreneurship
