Amr El-Abassy is the General Manager of EdVentures, a leading Corporate Venture Capital fund investing in early-stage EdTech startups across MENA. With over 18 years of experience in venture capital, SME finance, and entrepreneurship development, Amr has supported hundreds of startups through investment, acceleration, and strategic advisory. He previously led investment programs at MSMEDA and advised USAID’s Business Egypt project. Amr holds an MBA in Banking & Finance and executive certifications from UC Berkeley and private equity diploma from AUC
